What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Seney Construction?
We need experienced and responsible construction laborers, like you, to join our growing team! Take pride in working alongside other hard-working and respected professionals to produce quality construction services from the ground up. Communication and the ability to follow directions are essential for this role. The candidate must be able to ensure a clean and safe job site and contribute to a positive work environment. Our office is based in Fitchburg, MA.
- Job Requirements:
- Knowledge and ability to use tools correctly and safely.
- Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle.
- 3 years of construction/building maintenance and related experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Candidate will have the physical ability to lift 50 lbs. as well as the ability to perform all the physical requirements of the job including lifting, bending, stooping, walking, reaching, crawling, twisting and standing for varied periods of time.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and teach
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background screening.
- Additional Consideration:
- Additional consideration and pay would be available to a candidate with general maintenance skills, or strong carpentry skills and small project experience. (porches, bathroom, kitchens, windows, doors, etc.)
-Siding and Exterior Trim Installation. Vinyl, PVC, Metal, Cement board experience a plus
