Personal Care Assistant (PCA) – Part-Time (Weekend Shifts)
Missoula, MT
We are hiring a Part-Time Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our small, home-style assisted living residence located in a quiet Missoula neighborhood. Our home provides a warm, family-like environment for residents living with various forms of dementia.
This role is ideal for students or individuals seeking hands-on healthcare experience in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
Schedule
- Saturday: 2:30pm - 7:30pm (Evening Shift)
- Sunday: 2:30pm - 7:30pm (Evening Shift)
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily personal care (hygiene, dressing, grooming)
- Provide medication reminders and support
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Monitor resident needs and report changes
- Support residents with dementia-related care needs
- Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
Qualifications
- Compassionate and patient attitude
- Reliable and responsible
- Ability to work in a small team setting
- Comfortable working with elderly residents, including those with dementia
- Prior caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus (not required)
