Join a leading manufacturing team as a Weld Engineer in Madison, Alabama, where you'll provide technical guidance and support to optimize welding operations. Lead the planning and installation of welding equipment, including robotics, jigs, and vision systems. Program and troubleshoot Fanuc and Yaskawa/Motoman robotic welding systems, as well as Omron PLCs, to enhance manufacturing processes. Develop and improve welding methods, optimize workflow, and design efficient equipment layouts to maximize productivity. Collaborate with management and suppliers to ensure equipment capabilities meet production goals. Apply hands-on problem-solving skills to resolve equipment and process issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed and contribute to quality control and process optimization efforts. Flexibility to work across various departments and areas within the plant is essential.
