Position Description:
Join a dynamic team as an HVAC Technician supporting the maintenance and operation of HVAC systems in a well-established facility. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers hands-on experience in preventative and corrective maintenance of HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, refrigeration, and controls. You’ll perform system assessments, troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and ensure optimal building climate control. Collaboration with team members and precise documentation are essential to maintain high standards of safety and operational excellence. Work within a fast-paced environment supporting a leading organization in Warren, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, refrigeration, and related controls.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and system assessments.
• Respond promptly to heating and cooling issues, performing repairs as needed.
• Monitor system operation, record readings such as temperature and pressure, and make necessary adjustments.
• Assist with electrical controls, motor wiring, and control panel work (may require electrical journeyman certification).
• Support chemical water treatment for chilled and condenser water systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including operating logs, maintenance history, and safety records.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous materials following OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team and support other technicians on complex repairs.

Top Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED; formal HVAC training/certifications required
• Six (6) or more years of related experience in HVAC maintenance and repair
• Applicable HVAC certifications and a valid driver’s license
