Data Scientist

Core Responsibilities

• Act as the lead data strategist, identifying and integrating new datasets into product capabilities.
• Partner with engineering to build and enhance data products.
• Execute analytical experiments across various business domains.
• Identify, collect, and prepare structured and unstructured datasets.
• Build algorithms and models for large-scale data mining, including data validation, error analysis, and model improvement.
• Analyze data for trends, patterns, and clear business objectives.
• Deploy analytical models to production in collaboration with software developers and ML engineers.

Required Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in data science.
• Strong skills in data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
• Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SAS).
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented environment with multiple active projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, applied math, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years of project management experience.
• Relevant professional certifications.
