Position Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Senior Manager - PMO, leading the planning, execution, and coordination of high-impact projects within the construction and facility management industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to oversee multiple projects exceeding $30M annually, ensuring client satisfaction and driving process enhancements. You'll be the key liaison between the PMO and clients, managing Project Managers, fostering team growth, and ensuring project success through strategic leadership and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate assigned construction projects, ensuring alignment with client and company goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client satisfaction, including preparing for and conducting quarterly business reviews.
- Manage and mentor Project Managers, assigning projects based on skill sets, and providing coaching, performance feedback, and evaluations.
- Oversee safety compliance, monitor safety training, conduct site visits as needed.
- Develop and implement process improvements, maintaining adherence to industry standards.
- Manage project pipelines, identify new opportunities, and support business growth initiatives.
- Oversee project budgets, billing, and financial reporting for projects over $30M/year.
- Foster strong interpersonal communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams through excellent written and verbal skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of construction-related relationship and project management experience.
- PMI Certification required; additional certifications like LEED or Contractor Licenses a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and email communication tools.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, government regulations, and contract documents.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports, estimates, schedules, and client updates.
