Position Description:

Join our team as a Distribution Field Technician I in Lakewood, CO, and contribute to vital utility infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting field data related to power and telecommunications facilities, including measurements, mapping, field photography, and inventory documentation. You will work closely with senior technical or engineering staff, often acting as an assistant in designing or staking exercises. This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, employing technology tools such as GPS receivers, digital cameras, and data collection devices. Your efforts will support accurate record-keeping and help ensure the successful execution of utility work projects.

Essential duties include adhering to safety practices, accurately gathering and recording data, and assisting in power restoration during natural disasters if needed. The role may involve overnight travel and teamwork-oriented tasks, requiring independence, attention to detail, and a customer-focused attitude.
