What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seneca Language Teacher position at Seneca Nation Education Department?
Teaches Seneca Language to a wide variety of students/adults through structured classes, plans lessons according to curriculum guidelines set forth by Seneca Language policy to promote the preservation and perpetuation of naturally spoken Seneca from and to community members regardless of location. A standards-based Seneca Language and culture curriculum for instruction and assessment provides the basis for topics divided into language development sequences for early, beginner, intermediate, and proficient learners.
