We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in the United States. This role is vital in ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and our pharmacy, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional patient-centered care from our location.
Education / Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
- 1–2 years of healthcare or customer service experience.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Patient Care Coordinator I provides administrative and patient support services. This role focuses on patient communication and coordination of care. This position acts as a liaison between the Patient and the Care Team (prescriber, medical assistant, nurse, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicates with patients on Senderra’s processes, needs for successfully scheduling patient deliveries, and schedules patient medication shipments.
- Utilizes company software to obtain payment for copay.
- Obtains and updates patient profile with new insurance information as needed.
- Maintains accurate history notes and records in the patient profile.
- Communicates effectively and appropriately with patients’ physicians.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic patient inquiries.
- Assists in streamlining communication with the patient, insurance carrier, pharmacist, nurse, and physician.
- Perform all tasks in a manner that is consistent with corporate policies as well as state and federal laws.
- Knowledgeable regarding Senderra’s community values.
- Other duties as assigned.
