What You’ll Do
- Determine the optimal package size tailored to each customer order, ensuring the most effective shipping method
- Verify the count of all parts prior to preparing them for shipment and inspect all parts, ensuring they meet company quality standards
- Prepare pallets for efficient freight shipments
- Support in maintaining a clean and well-organized shipping department
- Receive inbound shipments and direct to appropriate departments
- Assist with inventory control
- Ability to complete implied tasks to perform necessary job functions
- Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours per shift
