As SendCutSend continues to grow, we’re expanding our sheet metal DFM team and seeking experienced professionals with direct design, manufacturing, and/or estimating experience in the sheet metal fabrication field. This role focuses on providing in-depth DFM checks of incoming orders and communicating clearly with customers about manufacturability. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge around the services we offer, and while training will be available, a robust base of experience is required. Strong attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with several internal teams, as well as customers, is required.

What You’ll Do
- Support in screening new orders to ensure compliance with our production capabilities and company policy, and make adjustments to files submitted by customers per work order requirements.
- Review customer requirements to identify appropriate product and service options, while maintaining company goals and targets.
- Communicate daily with customers and the Support team regarding any job with problematic artwork.
- Assist with enhancing processes in the programming department to minimize production issues.
- Communicate effectively with the production teams, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that customer objectives are met.
- Complete additional tasks set forth by DFM Manager
- Proficient in CNC systems and programming software, with expertise in sheet metal fabrication and associated techniques
- Proficient in CAD programs such as Fusion, SolidWorks or others
- Cooperation and teamwork across multiple departments
- Strong computer and typing skills. Additional proprietary software training is available on the job.
