Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (exact hours to be confirmed)
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Quality Technician I to join our Quality Engineering team. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity of our fastening systems through rigorous testing, inspection, and calibration. Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct testing for finished products and raw materials
- Audit production lines to ensure products meet specifications
- Complete internal calibrations on schedule
- Review material certifications and report discrepancies
- Accept or reject product and communicate results with teams
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper functionality
- Report quality issues to management
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a quality testing role
- Tool testing experience preferred
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in teams
- Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and computer systems
- Ability to accurately and efficiently record testing outcomes
Requirements
- Proficient math skills and ability to read, write, add, and subtract
- Above average manual dexterity
- Ability to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working in environments with noise, dirt, and fumes (within OSHA limits)
- Must be able to stand for approximately 75% of the shift
- Must be comfortable with potential exposure to lost-time accidents (hands, arms, feet, or back)
