Schedule: 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Position Summary
KYOCERA SENCO Industrial Tools is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our team on 3rd Shift. This role is responsible for packing, moving, and inspecting products prior to shipment. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Transport materials into production areas using hand trucks.
- Stack, seal, and inspect cartons and boxes for accuracy.
- Identify fasteners by product code and verify markings.
- Record production counts promptly and accurately.
- Deliver empty cartons to production areas and load them into auto-pack racks.
- Stamp cartons with operator ID and inspect for visual defects.
- Ensure cartons are full before sealing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate production records.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Capable of inspecting fasteners for quality assurance.
Requirements
- Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction).
- Able to read and write clearly.
- Skilled in operating forklifts, lift trucks, electric dollies, chain hoists, stampers, and hand tape-sealers.
- Above-average manual dexterity.
- Physically able to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs throughout the shift.
- May be required to stand for the entire shift depending on the area.
- Comfortable working in environments with noise, dirt, fumes, and potential exposure to lost-time accidents (hands, arms, feet, back) within OSHA guidelines.
