As the key point of contact for our Southern California locations, as well as all fully remote employees in the US, this role ensures we deliver day-to-day HR Activities, as well as customer-centric HR consultation and business partnering for employees and leaders. The HR Business Partner is hands-on and responsible for all facets of an employee’s lifecycle.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $85,000 - $117,000. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.

Responsibilities
- Build organizational capability to support business priorities with strong employee relations and business partnering focus (40%)
- Drive, recommend, and at times manage creative strategies to address retention, employee engagement and leadership development (20%)
- Own the employee lifecycle, including new employee onboarding, induction, ongoing performance management, and exit processes (20%)
- Manage the HR side of internal and external audits from Quality Management programs such as ISO 9001 (10%)
- Manage and own day-to-day tactical responsibilities of a local HR professional (10%)
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of progressive human resources experience in a manufacturing environment (hi-tech sector preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent knowledge of state and federal labor laws
- HR Certification is a plus
- Preferred experience working for a multinational/global organization
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well independently and proactively
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed to support a multi-shift manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization
- Strong focus on execution and high-quality output with strong attention to detail
