Position OverviewWe are looking for a motivated Sales & Marketing Intern to help Semsons expand its reach, generate leads, and communicate the value of our web services to small businesses. This is a 3-month, unpaid, remote internship designed for students or entry-level candidates who want real-world experience in marketing, digital sales, and the web design industry.
You’ll work closely with our team to promote our services, create marketing content, and support client outreach strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in generating leads for website design and maintenance services.
- Help create social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Support email marketing campaigns and outreach messages to local businesses.
- Research target industries and identify potential clients in New Jersey and beyond.
- Prepare basic sales materials (service summaries, pricing sheets, pitch notes).
- Help update and maintain Semsons’ online presence.
- Track weekly marketing results and outreach performance.
- Participate in campaign brainstorming and improvement sessions.
- Being a current college student
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Interest in sales, marketing, digital services, or web design.
- Familiarity with social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Creative, positive, and eager to learn.
- Experience with Canva or basic design tools.
- Knowledge of CRM or email marketing platforms.
- Understanding of website basics (domains, hosting, SEO, etc.).
- Experience with outreach or customer communication.
- Hands-on experience in sales and digital marketing for a web agency.
- Understanding of how website services are sold to real businesses.
- A stronger portfolio and real client-facing experience.
