- Acquires cost-effective wholesale energy supplies to meet load and contractual commitments.
- Coordinates with legal and finance teams on contract negotiations, term sheets, and financial settlements.
- Creates physical strategies for trading positions, transportation, and storage assets.
- Executes enterprise trading and hedging strategies, manages profitable positions across time frames and geographies, and generates revenue while managing power, renewables, and gas commodity risk.
- Leads commercial risk-management activities such as credit evaluation, hedge execution, and mitigation of market-volatility exposure.
- Negotiates and executes approved transactions to meet customer demand, optimize assets, and maintain system integrity.
- Researches electricity and natural-gas markets to understand fundamentals and inform trading strategies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Salary : $145,500 - $229,500
