Primary Purpose
The Capital Value Process (CVP) is the process for planning and reviewing business opportunities through a multi-staged approach with each stage having a clear set of deliverables used to direct the scope and quality of development activities for capital projects. The Capital Project Solutions (CPS) team owns the CVP and serves as Sempra Infrastructure's internal consulting body.
This role supports the CPS team efforts to ensure quality of CPS resources and services to the organization. This role reports to the CPS Director but directly supports the scope of work of the CPS Manager(s), CPS Assurance Manager(s), and the CPS Advisor(s).
Duties and Responsibilities

The Capital Project Solutions (CPS) team owns the CVP and serves as Sempra Infrastructure's internal consulting body.
This role supports the CPS team efforts to ensure quality of CPS resources and services to the organization. This role reports to the CPS Director but directly supports the scope of work of the CPS Manager(s), CPS Assurance Manager(s), and the CPS Advisor(s).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works in support of the CPS Director and Manager(s) to investigate, research, draft, update and develop or improve CPS resource/content/guidelines/procedures.
- Works in support of CPS Advisors to organize materials, prepare and facilitate framing and BEAM workshops, best practices and learnings workshops.
- Works in support of CPS Assurance Managers to organize materials, prepare and facilitate Assurance planning, Assurance kick off, Assurance reviews, and report finalization and delivery
- Works with CPS Director and Manager(s) to coordinate creation of content/materials for SI communications.
- Manages the CVP Portal ensuring latest content, formatting, messaging aligns with key team messaging
- Works with team to develop approach, organization, and execution of CVP Trainings.
- Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, primarily Business law, supply chain, marketing, finance focus, statistics or equivalent experience required.
- 1 years of related oil/gas and/or power industry project management or construction management experience on complex projects and/or business specific project types preferred.
- 1 years of experience in a gated project work process for project development preferred.
- Quantitative analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills (public speaking, written and interpersonal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to process transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to work independently and with moderate guidance from management is necessary.
- Ability to work with teams (virtually and in-person).
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and respond rapidly to change requests.
- Ability to professionally communicate (speaking, active listening, emails, corporate communications).
- Possesses strong social skills, self-awareness, and empathy.
- Knowledge of Front-End Loading principles.
- Knowledge of key drivers that affect project performance.
- Ability to use and understand systems and tools.
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and encourage others in team to comply as well.
- Fluent in Spanish preferred.
