Role Description In this full-time remote role, the Field Service Engineer will provide technical support and on-site service for major mining customers. Responsibilities include supporting installation, commissioning, and maintenance support. The role involves troubleshooting material handling issues, performing inspections, and providing clear reports and recommendations for mining customers and internal teams. The engineer will collaborate closely with sales, application engineers, and R&D teams to optimize system performance and align solutions with customer reliability objectives. Regular interaction with customer teams, frequent travel to customer sites, and adherence to safety and quality standards are key aspects of this position.
Qualifications
- Experience in mining, bulk material handling/ conveyor systems.
- Experience in Technical Support, including troubleshooting, customer-facing problem resolution, and providing clear technical guidance.
- Competency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Hands-on experience with conveyor belt installation/ splicing.
- Self-directed working style suitable for a remote role, with strong organizational skills and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all field and engineering activities.
