Responsibilities
Job Description:
The SWI will provide essential software support on the contract. The SWI's full time duty location will be onsite at APG.
Must Have Experience In The Following
- Providing software support for laptops, desktops, system storage, and servers including the configuration of the hardware devices, testing new software and designing the structure of the network.
- Monitoring and developing the system configuration within a mixed release Windows environment, Linux environment, and containerized environment utilizing puppet, ansible, Kubernetes and other tools.
- Reviewing logs and output for server errors, Java errors, Ruby errors and Python errors.
- Reviewing, modifying and creating within PowerShell scripting, bash scripting and shell scripting.
- Utilizing Docker/Podman or another containerization platform.
- At least six (6) years of experience within the last 8 years.
- Must have TS with ability to obtain an SCI and a Poly.
- Containerization experience with any products – PodMan, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, etc.
- Experience using any of the following CI/CD systems:
- Atlassian – BitBucket, Jira
- GitHub
- Experience within the last 5 years with any of the following scripting languages:
- BASH
- POWERSHELL
- PYTHON Experience
