These roles will support specialized tasks such as centralized logging, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat analysis to enhance the FBI's cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Implement and manage centralized logging and monitoring solutions.
- Analyze and respond to cyber threats, providing actionable intelligence to stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of technical security controls and configurations.
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in cybersecurity engineering, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of tools such as Splunk, Nessus, and other SCAP tools.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
- NCR (J. Edgar Hoover Building): Majority of personnel will be based here.
- HSV (FBI Campus): Support for systems at the FBI Campus.
