Maybe one of your career goals is to become an AR Manager? If so, you may be a great fit for this role. Semper Home is hiring an Order to Cash Specialist to join our growing team in San Diego, CA

Semper Home is looking for an organized and motivated Order to Cash Specialist to join the Accounting Team! Under the general direction of the Accounts Manager, the Order to Cash Specialist performs a wide variety of administrative duties. The ideal candidate will be motivated, energetic, coachable and positive. Most importantly the ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and the diligence to proactively follow up with customers and teammates.

Duties:

• Own the Order to Cash function of the Accounting Department
• Audits and review customer statements to ensure accuracy
• Maintain Accounts Receivable Agings and research and validate outstanding balances
• Resolve customer billing issues and discrepancies
• Prepare/review/implement audits and checks on all Accounts Receivable processes.
• Maintain and update customer records and lists
• Manage a team of offshore AR specialists – up to and including driving engagement and reviewing all work in a time manner
• Handle daily check deposits and mail processing
• Collaborate cross functionally with other departments on projects and initiatives that include testing and implantation of logic within the CRM

Requirements:

• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Cash Application (required).
• High school graduate or equivalent required, some college a plus
• Inclination towards continuous improvement
• Advanced in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite/Sage etc).
• Ability to work both independently and within a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred but not required).
• Experience with the development and implementation of software (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
• Strong attention to detail is a must.
• Takes initiative to proactively follow with team
• Ability to read and react to certain collection situations appropriately
• Ability to drive results with team members without a direct reporting relationship
• Skilled at navigating multiple software programs simultaneously
• Ability to independently trouble shoot issues and recommend solutions

Pay Rate: $28-$30/hr. depending on experience
