Junior Roofing Project Manager

About the Role

Semper Solaris is looking for a Junior Roofing Project Manager to be our eyes, ears, and handshake in the field. You will survey roofs, greet homeowners, keep material and crews on track, and make sure every roof replacement runs safely and on schedule. No prior roofing experience required. We will train the right person who is dependable, safety-minded, and great with people. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role, not a desk job.

What You'll Do

• Conduct on-site roof surveys for replacement projects, taking photos and completing digital assessment forms.
• Serve as the customer's main point of contact on installation day: greet them, set expectations, and keep them informed.
• Audit material deliveries for completeness the morning of each install.
• Enforce OSHA roof-safety standards with our roofing subcontractors (paid training and certification provided).
• Source and coordinate additional materials as needed during installation.
• Pick up surplus material after each job and return it to the supplier.
• Manage 2 to 3 roofing jobs per day, keeping each one moving and every customer happy.

What We're Looking For

• No experience required. We provide full training.
• Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (this role requires daily driving).
• Strong customer-service instincts and clear communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized across multiple job sites in a day.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. .
• Full-time, based out of our El Cajon office with daily travel to job sites across the branch.
