Content & Digital Marketing Strategist

Description

We are hiring a Content and Digital Marketing Strategist. This person will be responsible for creating and managing content across social media platforms, newsletters, our website, and blogs. They will work closely with the marketing team to ensure we are maintaining creativity and consistency across our messaging, while building brand engagement and patient trust. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Develop and execute monthly content calendars 
• Write, edit, and publish high-quality, engaging content tailored to patients and healthcare providers 
• Build and distribute patient newsletters 
• Manage and update website content (in coordination with our web team) 
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop cohesive, on-brand, marketing campaigns 
• Help source and shape patient stories, provider highlights, and health education topics 
• Align ongoing and future marketing initiatives with strategic growth plan 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field 
• Three (3) years experience in content marketing, communications, or digital media 

Preferred Requirements: 

• Experience with multiple email platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.) 
• Healthcare or nonprofit marketing experience 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet applications, and with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Suite, Later)
• Working knowledge of website content systems (e.g., WordPress or Craft)
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to tactfully interact with all levels of an organization and the public  
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage projects independently 
• Understands brand management and can maintain visual consistency across all material or content
• Can create content within a heavily regulated and HIPAA compliant environment
• Ability to manage various responsibilities with multiple deadlines and competing demands 
• Highly motivated to see projects from start to finish and complete assignments with accuracy and thoroughness
• Can work autonomously with focus and discipline
