Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual professional to join our team in a role that bridges sales coordination, procurement, and customer service. This position involves managing purchase orders, coordinating delivery schedules, and supporting business transactions while ensuring smooth communication between our group factories, customers, and headquarters in Japan. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks Desktop, and the ability to provide exceptional service to assigned customers.
In addition to handling product packaging, shipping arrangements, and compliance documentation. The successful candidate will also assist in preparing sales reports, planning budgets, and conducting credit checks for new partners.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, multicultural environment and can communicate effectively in English and Japanese, with conversational Spanish as a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support invoice processing and assist in closing business deals
- Enter purchase order details into QuickBooks Desktop and Excel
- Manage and coordinate sales and purchasing delivery schedules
- Coordinate product procurement with group factories and sales with customers
- Arrange samples for customers
- Maintain assigned customer relationships and provide high-quality service
- Handle product packaging and shipping arrangements
- Translate internal/external documents between Japanese and English
- Act as procurement contact for Mexico factory
- Aggregate sales/order data and submit reports to Japan headquarters
- Assist in planning next fiscal year’s sales budget
- Retain sales-related documents for J-SOX compliance
- Conduct credit checks for new business partners
Skills
- Languages: English (business level), Japanese (business level), Spanish (conversational)
- Ability to understand Japanese meeting content is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
