The Center for Construction and Design is seeking a high-energy, detailed-oriented individual to provide a broad range of advanced administrative and program support in a fast-paced work environment. This role provides support to the Academic Dean, Faculty and staff across multiple programs. This position is on-site and may require flexible work hours (e.g., occasional evenings or weekends) to support program needs and events.

Essential Functions
- Maintains records and related databases for multiple departments and programs in compliance with college requirements, including budgets, purchasing orders, payroll data entry, and employee attendance and leave.
- Composes, types, and edits broad range of routine and non-routine correspondence, documents, and reports.
- Researches and resolves issues/problems related to department, such as data, schedule, or payroll.
- Provides support to the office to maintain effective and efficient office workflow.
- Serves as first point of contact and liaison among faculty, students, the public, community agencies, and administration.
- Provides program support and perform tasks related to specialty accreditations.
- Performs tasks related to industry advisory boards and meetings, such as assisting with meeting minutes, and venue set-up.
- Maintains department calendar and assists with department travel and other accommodations.
- Maintains office equipment and assists staff in use of office computers and related software.
- Assists with event logistics, such as room reservations and facilities set up.
- Assists with posting information and announcements on department Canvas site, social media platforms, and website updates.
- Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
- One year of administrative or clerical support experience.
- Associate degree in Office Management or similar curriculum.
- Experience using a personal computer and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Knowledge of and ability to interpret College policies and procedures.
- Ability to understand the organization and programs of the College.
- Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to become proficient in video conferencing applications, such as Teams/Zoom.
