Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing appointments and ensuring efficient scheduling for our dental office. This position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in administrative tasks, and a strong understanding of hygiene schedule
Duties
- Coordinate and manage appointment schedules for patients, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
- Utilize phone systems to communicate effectively with patients, addressing inquiries and confirming appointments.
- Maintain a two hygienist schedule fully booked.
- Provide exceptional customer service by demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when interacting with patients.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office environment.
- Support administrative tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental practices.
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in computerized systems for scheduling and record management.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
