Job Description

The TCD (Tribal Career Development) Program is a People & Opportunities flagship program for advancing leaders within the talent pipeline, designed to develop Tribal Members and First-Generation Descendants. TCD offers rotational experience at all gaming facilities in all areas of business. TCD Members gain various business skills in areas such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, Gaming, Food & Beverage and more.

This is not just a job, it is a structured career journey that provides direct access to mentorship, hands-on experience, cross-functional exposure, and long-term career placement within Seminole Gaming.

Program Overview

As a TCD Team Member, you will enter a multi-year development journey designed to build your skills, expand your experience, and align you to a long-term career path within the organization.

The Program Combines

• Rotational assignments across key business functions
• Leadership development at every level
• Structured career pathways aligned with business needs
• Direct exposure to operations across Seminole Gaming properties
  
  

Participants move through a guided lifecycle from applicant → onboarding → rotation development → placement → executive readiness.

What You Will Experience

• Foundation & Assessment (First 90 Days)
• Entry into the program as a TCD Intern
• Structured onboarding and behavioral assessment period
• Evaluation of:
• Work ethic

This phase determines your pathway within the program.

Based on your strengths and interests, you will be placed into one of the following:

Rotational Pathway (Leadership Track)

• Exploratory Rotations
• Cross-functional exposure across departments (e.g., Gaming, Hospitality, Food & Beverage)
• Build a broad understanding of enterprise operations
• Concentration Phase
• Focus on a specific business area
• Develop technical expertise and leadership capability
  
  

Immediate Employment / Placement Support (Alternate Pathway)

• Career coaching and guided placement into a role aligned with your skills
• Opportunity to re-enter the rotational pathway for leadership development in the future
• Mentorship, Exposure & Engagement
• Work directly with department leaders and property leadership teams
• Participate in TCD meetings, development sessions, and program retreats
• Receive ongoing coaching, feedback, and career alignment support

• Placement into a role within Seminole Gaming

Qualifications

• Enrolled Member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida or First-Generation Descendant
• 18 years of age or older
• Strong motivation to learn, grow, and pursue leadership opportunities
• Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and engagement
• Must be able to work flexible workdays/hours.
• Team orientation and willingness to collaborate; ability to perform tasks independently within established guidelines.
  
  

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Hands-on experience across multiple operational departments
• Rotational assignments may vary by location and function
• Work environments may include hospitality, gaming, and support services settings
• Adherence to all safety and operational guidelines is required
• Ability to experience multiple shifts

Candidates must obtain a gaming license, which may include:

• Background check

Native American Preference Policy

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.

As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations prior to an offer being extended
