Overview

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the incumbent processes and delivers requisitions submitted to the Warehouse.

Essential Job Functions

May include but are not limited to:

• Receives, counts and stores all material assigned to Warehouse.
• Performs all administrative duties for the Warehouse. 
• Must confirm deliveries and cross reference with the system. 
• Ensure all PO's are correct and closed out on time. 
• Marks, prices and stocks all items in proper locations.
• Checks all material received for possible damage, leakage or theft.
• Rotates stock to maintain integrity of all products; maintains constant check on temperatures of freezers and chill boxes.
• Takes inventory of material stored in all Warehouses.
• Maintains inventory locations for all Warehouse items. Keeps all areas of Warehouse clean and free of safety hazards.
• Properly completes all Warehouse paperwork.
• Previous use or knowledge on how to operate a forklift
• Answer any incoming calls from vendors/departments. 
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Provide excellent customer service. 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED as well as six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Must hav a current valid Florida Driver's License in good standing with no exemtions, suspensions, revocations, etc...
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, compute ratio, rate and percent.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form.
• May occasionally be required to type and operate basic computer software applications.
• Must be able to work cooperatively with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
•  Must follow safety instructions and guidelines at all times.
• Previous use or knowledge on operating a forklift
• Proficient computer skills 

Work Environment:

• Must be able to work in a smoking environment
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 70 pounds repeatedly by utilizing safe lifting techniques
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent may be required to stand, walk, sit, ascend/descend stairs/ladders; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.
•  Ability to walk on paved, gravel or other uneven surfaces.
• Requires working at heights in excess of 7 feet.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
