JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the execution of advertising campaigns by collaborating with the Team to implement the company’s overall marketing strategy. The successful candidate is someone who has a passion for creativity, attention to detail & organization.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensures timely development of creative materials for all property promotions and advertising opportunities.
• Works with creative and media agencies to establish upcoming projects and manage workflow.
• Maintains creative and advertising production schedule.
• Responsible for managing, executing, and sustaining the brand through all marketing endeavors.
• Brainstorm new and innovative advertising campaigns all while maintaining the spirit and integrity of the Seminole Hard Rock brand.
• Track and schedule all copy, art, lists, cost estimates, invoices and other material through every stage of production.
• Creates copy and establishes production requirements for radio, print, and TV advertisements.
• Coordinates photo shoots for printed material and advertising.
• Coordinates all aspects of off-property advertisement collateral from start through completion.
• Communicates with all property stakeholders on advertising and marketing needs both on- and off-property inclusive of digital and print.
• Assists with all aspects of property signage: planning, development and execution/installation, and budgetary accountability for same.
• Obtains bids and initiate purchases in accordance with company policy.
• Works with Purchasing, Receiving and Warehouse on inventory and deliveries.
• Prepares requisitions for all goods and services purchased by the Advertising Department.
• Examines for accuracy and prepares for payment all vendor invoices received by the department.
• Assists in the preparation of and monitoring annual budget, monthly budget justification, monthly/quarterly projections and all expense reconciliations, including media.
• Analyze campaign data to spot trends and identify performance improvement possibilities.
• Prepare campaign performance reports.
• Maintains files of all completed production jobs.
• Assist with development of social and digital content
• Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) – five (5) years of experience in a marketing role or similar position, preferably in an agency environment
• BS or BA in Business, Advertising, Marketing, related field, or similar work experience
• Highly creative with the ability to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop design concepts and appropriate text for a variety of marketing and advertising projects
• Must be proficient in the following programs: Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud and Microsoft Office
• Strong project management skills, being able to manage and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Must be team oriented and work well with others
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Excellent communication and time management skills are required
• Must be able to analyze marketing and promotions data

Work Environment:

• Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, as well as on the Casino Floor. On the Casino floor, it is a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
