Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Room Service Manager/Asst. Manager, the incumbent is responsible for Serving both food and beverage to guests in hotel rooms and other areas throughout the property ensuring a positive guest experience.

Essential Job Functions:

• Taking guest orders
• Serving food and drinks and collecting monies in a courteous and efficient manner
• Keeping station clean at all times.
• Performs other duties.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of one (1) year of high volume service or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Must possess knowledge of both food and beverage items, and have basic mathematical skills

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
