Automotive Finance Director / F&I Director
Seminole Chevrolet – Seminole, Oklahoma
Full-time | In person
Seminole Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Finance Director to lead our dealership’s finance and insurance operations. We are looking for a proven F&I professional who can maximize profitability while maintaining an honest, customer-focused buying experience.
The right candidate will be highly organized, knowledgeable about lender requirements and dealership compliance, and capable of building strong relationships with customers, lenders, and our sales team.
Responsibilities
- Manage all dealership finance and insurance operations
- Present financing options and protection products clearly and professionally
- Structure deals that meet customer needs while supporting dealership profitability
- Maintain productive relationships with banks, credit unions, and other lenders
- Obtain competitive approvals for customers across a variety of credit profiles
- Ensure contracts, stipulations, and supporting documents are complete and accurate
- Monitor contracts in transit and work closely with accounting to ensure timely funding
- Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, lender, and dealership requirements
- Track and improve finance performance, including profit per retail unit, product penetration, funding time, chargebacks, and lender performance
- Train and support the sales team on credit applications, deal documentation, and proper F&I turnover
- Help develop consistent sales and finance processes throughout the dealership
- Resolve customer or lender concerns promptly and professionally
Qualifications
- Previous automotive F&I management experience required
- Finance Director or senior F&I Manager experience preferred
- Demonstrated success with finance profitability and product penetration
- Strong lender relationships and knowledge of indirect automotive lending
- Thorough understanding of dealership finance documentation and compliance
- Dealertrack experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals at once
- High level of integrity and commitment to treating customers fairly
- Ability to work dealership hours, including Saturdays as scheduled
- Clean driver's license - We Check Backgrounds
