General Description
The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by engaging with prospects and existing customers through remote channels such as phone, email, video conferencing, and CRM platforms. This role focuses on lead qualification, opportunity development, and sales order processing, all conducted from within the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with strong technical proficiency in CRM and ERP systems—specifically Salesforce and NetSuite—and thrives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. This position supports SEMI’s information products, including market intelligence reports and SEMI Standards, across the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Engagement & Lead Management
- Qualify inbound leads and conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and digital channels.
- Use Salesforce to manage contacts, leads, and opportunities, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities and pipeline stages.
- Create and manage sales cadences and email sequences using Salesforce tools to automate follow-ups and improve conversion rates.
CRM & ERP Integration
- Verify and update Sales Orders in NetSuite once opportunities are marked “Closed Won” in Salesforce.
- Coordinate with accounting and support teams to ensure timely invoicing and payment tracking in NetSuite.
- Maintain data integrity across both platforms, ensuring synchronization of customer records and transaction history.
Customer Interaction & Support
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide product information, and assist in resolving issues.
- Schedule product demos and follow-up meetings using Salesforce tasks and calendar integration.
- Follow-up with customers regarding their subscription renewals.
- Present company offerings in a clear and compelling manner, tailored to customer needs.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate and interpret sales reports and dashboards in Salesforce to monitor performance and identify trends.
- Use NetSuite saved views and transaction tabs to analyze historical sales data and forecast future demand.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to align messaging and ensure seamless customer experience.
- Participate in regular sales meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product changes and system enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in inside sales or customer-facing roles (preferably in the semiconductor industry)
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and NetSuite ERP is mandatory.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with sales cadences, email templates, and CRM automation tools.
- Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams for collaboration and communication.
- Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Copilot tools to enhance productivity and workflow efficiency.
