Role Description The Warehouse Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Elmwood Park, NJ. This role is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving incoming shipments, unloading trucks, verifying quantities, and organizing inventory. The Warehouse Associate will pick and pack orders, prepare products for shipment, label boxes, and stage materials for production as needed. Responsibilities also include operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and, where certified, forklifts, while following all safety procedures. The role involves keeping work areas clean, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with team members to ensure orders are processed efficiently and on time.
Qualifications
- Experience with shipping & receiving activities, including checking in deliveries and preparing outbound shipments.
- Proficiency in packing orders accurately and securely, with attention to labeling and documentation.
- Ability to safely perform unloading tasks and move materials within the warehouse environment.
- Skill in forklift operation and pallet jack use, with relevant certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math and counting skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift and move boxes and materials as part of regular warehouse duties, following safe work practices.
- Reliable attendance, strong time management, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent beneficial.
