Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role based in Santa Clara, CA. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (including milling and related equipment) to produce precision metal components to specification. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, selecting tools and fixtures, performing machine offsets and minor program edits, and inspecting parts using measuring instruments to maintain tight tolerances. The role involves performing in-process quality checks, documenting results, and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to resolve machining issues and optimize processes. The CNC Machinist will also be responsible for routine machine maintenance, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following all company and safety procedures.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in Machine Operation and operating CNC Machinery, including setup, tooling changes, and safe operation of milling and related equipment.
- Hands-on Machining and Milling skills, with experience producing tight-tolerance parts from engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Experience with Quality Control practices, including use of calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, and optical inspection tools to verify dimensions.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation, and to make basic CNC program edits and offsets as needed.
- Prior experience in a precision manufacturing or EDM/CNC environment; familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced shop environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or apprenticeship in machining or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and comply with all safety and quality procedures.
