Do you enjoy working in the field, have a keen eye for detail, and take pride in producing accurate work? We're looking for an Inventory & Pricing Specialist to join our Contents team. In this role, you'll play an important part in helping families recover after property losses by documenting and valuing their personal belongings with professionalism, compassion, and accuracy.
This is a dynamic position that combines field work (approximately 80%) with office-based pricing and valuation (approximately 20%). If you're organized, enjoy variety in your workday, and are comfortable interacting with clients, we'd love to hear from you.
Work Environment
This role regularly requires working inside fire-damaged homes and other catastrophic loss properties. Employees must be comfortable working around soot, smoke residue, odors, dust, and debris. This position requires frequent travel to client locations and the ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs, and lift household items in residential and commercial environments.
What You'll Do
Inventory Responsibilities (80%)
- Travel to residential and commercial loss locations to complete detailed inventories of personal property.
- Photograph and document contents using company-approved software and equipment.
- Accurately record item descriptions, quantities, conditions, and other relevant details.
- Organize and submit inventory information in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients throughout the inventory process.
- Follow all safety, contamination, and PPE requirements while working on-site.
- Collaborate with Contents Adjusters and team members to ensure claims move forward efficiently.
Pricing Responsibilities (20%)
- Review completed inventories for accuracy and completeness.
- Research and determine fair replacement pricing for personal property.
- Prepare accurate pricing and valuation estimates.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies and missing information.
- Help maintain consistent quality and accuracy across all contents claims.
