Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Child Nutrition, prepare and serve hot and cold menu items to students and staff at an assigned school site; assist with cooking and baking various food items; maintain food service facilities, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition.
Requirements / Qualifications

District paid medical, dental, and vision prescription plans are provided for employees and dependents.
Education/Experience: 1. Completion of formal or informal education sufficient to assure the ability to read and write at the level required for successful job performance. 2. Two (2) years of experience in quantity food preparation. 3. Completion of informal/formal education and/or experience to assure the ability to operate a computer at a level required for successful job performance. Licenses/Certificates: 1. Current Standard Red Cross First Aid certificate, when assigned. 2. Current CPR certificate. 3. Valid California Driver’s License. 4. Serve Safe Certificate or equivalent.
