Dishwasher Responsibilities:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas, kitchen floors, and workstations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
- Sort, scrape, and properly dispose of food waste and trash
- Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as organizing supplies, restocking clean dishes, breaking down equipment, and simple prep
- Support cooks and service staff by ensuring timely availability of clean dishes and utensils during service
- Report broken or malfunctioning equipment or safety concerns to kitchen leadership
- Some experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment preferred but not required
- Availability to work varied hours/days, with flexibility to come in early or stay late occasionally
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry heavy plates, racks, boxes, and supplies
