Sellers Tile is looking for a Flooring Warehouse Specialist/Sales Associate who will offer
reliable support at our Macon, GA store. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operation, ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly while providing top-tier services to our clients. This position requires an individual who can excel at both the physical demands of our warehouse operations and the interpersonal needs of our showroom floor.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Professionally greeting and assisting clients in store and on the phone.
- Unloading shipments, inspecting incoming material for damage, and organizing stock in the warehouse.
- Ensuring optimal stock levels through proactive monitoring and replenishment coordination.
- Assisting sales associates in the showroom and other areas of the store as needed.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage flooring products for customer orders and outgoing shipments to include operating a forklift.
- Completing Sales Orders using Sales Accounting Software.
- Completing sales transactions using POS terminal
- Completing, Accumulating, and Organizing necessary documents for accounting.
Desired Experience/Skills/Abilities:
- 2 years of sales experience-preferably in flooring/tile industry.
- Possess the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter and self-motivator.
- Ability to work with a variety of personalities and maintain a positive attitude.
- Forklift/Warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Salary is DOE
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
