Cinematographer / Videographer / Photographer (Luxury Real Estate)
Location: Newport Beach, CA | Job Type: Contract / 3 Days Per Week
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic, creative visual artist to produce high-end content for our luxury real estate portfolio. This is not a basic walkthrough role. We need a professional who can craft compelling narratives that elevate properties into lifestyle-driven stories. The ideal candidate possesses a refined eye for class and high-impact marketing, with the technical expertise to handle everything from cinematic property films and 3D tours to professional headshots, all while leveraging a deep understanding of social media trends to maximize engagement.
What You’ll Be Creating
- Cinematic Property Films & Lifestyle Stories: Capturing the emotion and flow of a home.
- 3D Property Tours & Floorplans: Utilizing advanced technology to provide immersive digital experiences.
- Auction-Style & Social Content: Creating high-urgency marketing videos, Instagram Reels, and TikToks designed for maximum engagement.
- High-End Stills: Professional property photography and polished team/agent headshots.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute filming sessions with an expert understanding of lighting, composition, and camera movement.
- Operate and maintain your own professional-grade camera, lighting, and stabilization equipment.
- Manage digital assets, including Zillow Showcase, Zillow 3D Home, and integrated 3D property tours.
- Edit footage into polished narratives using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and associated tools.
- Deliver consistent, high-impact visuals that align with our brand’s sophisticated aesthetic.
- Optimize and tailor content for various social platforms to increase visibility and brand presence.
Required Experience & Skills
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting, and post-production workflows (Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro).
- 3D & Tech Expertise: Proven experience creating 3D tours and floorplans; deep familiarity with the Zillow ecosystem (Showcase/3D apps).
- Social Media Expertise: Demonstrated success in creating content that performs well on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube; this expertise is highly valued.
- Versatility: Demonstrated ability to pivot between architectural photography, portraiture (headshots), and fast-paced social media video content.
- Equipment: Must have your own professional-grade photography and videography gear.
- Creative Instinct: A sharp knack for high-impact, luxury marketing. You understand that story > specs.
Not a Fit If
- You only shoot basic, static walkthrough videos.
- Your edits rely heavily on generic, overused templates.
- You require constant creative direction.
- You lack the equipment necessary to produce professional, broadcast-quality results.

- Schedule: 3 days per week.
