Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction activities using hand tools and power tools
- Install rebar, metal studs, framing, and perform masonry tasks following blueprints and schematics
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery safely for tasks such as concrete pumping or demolition work
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Prepare surfaces through plastering, stucco application, caulking, or flooring installation as needed for renovation or new builds
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure team safety
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or restoration
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and blueprint specifications accurately
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of construction plans is a plus
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in diverse weather conditions
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent workplace safety protocols
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment
