Duties
- Manage and update product listings on e-commerce platforms, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and images
- Assist customers via phone and online channels with product inquiries, order placements, and issue resolutions using professional phone etiquette
- Conduct product demos and upselling to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing stock displays both online and in the store, including stocking shelves and maintaining attractive product presentation
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately using POS systems
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Support in-store sales activities such as retail sales techniques, promoting products, and assisting with inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and achieve sales goals
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and stock management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in person and over the phone
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, merchandising, and stocking is a plus
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional demeanor and excellent phone etiquette
- Basic math skills necessary for cash handling and retail transactions
- Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
