- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and Ford factory standards
- Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment
- Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
- Communicate directly with service advisors to keep customers informed of additional service needs and provide accurate repair time estimates
- Ford Certification required
- ASE Certification required
- 2 years of automotive service technician experience preferred
- B-level qualifications including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair
- Previous Ford dealership experience a plus
- Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and manufacturer specifications
- Steady hands, excellent hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to grow
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
