đ„ The Role: Sales Development Representative
Weâve got an incredible product and more inbound leads than we can handleâ400 every single day. Thatâs where you come in.
As an SDR, youâll be the first point of contact for aspiring authors whoâve opted into our resources. Your job? Learn their story, understand their goals, and set up meaningful consults with our Publishing Strategists to guide them forward.
In addition to your day-to-day outreach, youâll also represent selfpublishing.com at live eventsâtraveling to 2â4 events per month to connect with attendees, share our mission from stage, and introduce new aspiring authors to our programs.
If you love speaking to large audiences, enjoy traveling, and get energized by being the face of a powerful brandâthis role is for you.

- Make outbound calls to warm, qualified leads (no cold calls!)
- Have real conversations with purpose-driven people
- Discover each prospectâs goals, challenges, and current stage
- Set high-quality, no-cost strategy calls with our Publishing team
- Represent selfpublishing.com at live events (2â4 per month)
- Speak confidently on stage, sharing our mission and services
- Collaborate with a fast-moving team, give feedback, and help build a world-class sales organization

đ Requirements
Required
- Proven sales experience ($150K in total past sales)
- CRM & structured sales process experience
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently (2â4 events per month)
- Live in the Austin area (Westlake proximity)
- $1M in lifetime sales
- 1â2 years of high-performance sales experience
- Experience with high-volume, low-ticket sales (ex: $10K or less, 1â2 call close)
- Public speaking or event experience
- Base Salary: $35K
- OTE (Year 1): $60,000â$120,000 (based on performance)
- Commission: Uncapped clear path to earnings growth
