What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse -NICU, Resource Pool, Shifts Vary position at Self Regional?
Responsibilities: Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies/Procedures/Protocols and Standards of Care. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Serves as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues. Performs any other job related duties as requested by Supervisor or Department Director.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. ADN degree. One year nursing experience required. BLS, ACLS and PALS required. Obtains ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer and PALS certification within 1 year of hire/transfer. Complete arrythmia course within 30 days of hire.
