What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Staff, 3 Tower Surgery, Full Time, Night Shift, to include every other weekend position at Self Regional?
Full Time, 7pm-7:30am, to include every other weekend
Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to surgical patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Incorporates the principles of statistical
analysis, scientific theory, developmental and decision-making skills for better patient outcomes. Utilizes effective communication to teach patients and families how to comply with treatment plans to maintain good health. Functions in the role of charge/lead nurse and coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Serves as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues.
Job Qualifications:
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.. BLS certified.
