QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education & Licensure

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Graduate degree (MSN or DNP) from an accredited NP program
  • State Nurse Practitioner (APRN) licensure
  • DEA registration (if prescribing controlled substances)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Continuing education to maintain certification and licensure

Clinical Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in conducting physical exams, patient histories, and diagnostic assessments
  • Experience performing and/or assisting with clinical procedures (as applicable to specialty)
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems)
