We are seeking a Director of Marketing and Communications - Digital!
The Director of Marketing and Communications is primarily responsible for leading Self-Help's digital marketing activities. This Director of Marcomm manages the Digital Marketing mini team; provides strategic leadership, vision, and guidance in digital marketing; and continually develops and improves Self-Help's overall marcomm capacity, quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
WHAT You'll DO:
- Strong understanding of the marketing continuum and deep experience in all aspects of digital marketing and how it complements and benefits from linear marketing (print, broadcast, etc.).
- Ability to think strategically and execute effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, motivate, support, coach, and supervise staff, as well as ability and willingness to step in as a working manager with a hands-on approach.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing the execution of digital marketing campaigns, projects, and initiatives.
- Deep understanding of best practices relating to email marketing, mobile marketing, and Web design.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, ability to perform well in a team environment, and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in balancing multiple priorities, meeting tight timelines and working effectively.
- Financial services and/or non-profit experience.
- Ability to demonstrate Self-Help’s Core Values.
- Deep expertise using Google Ads and Analytics, Kentico, Miro, Act-On, SharePoint and SEO tools.
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
- Deep UX design experience for web and mobile.
- Manage, develop and mentor a team.
- Develop team and individual goals designed to support and ensure achievement of organizational strategies.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned branch network a minimum of two times per year.
- Act as a change agent to drive Self-Help’s economic inclusion initiatives by integrating supplier diversity and the use of businesses owned by women and people of color in third party contracting and vendor management for relevant products and services.
- Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary.
WHAT You’ll NEED:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and 12 years of digital marketing experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
