What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nanny position at self employeed?
We are looking for a caring, dependable, and attentive nanny to care for our 3-month-old baby starting next month. This is a part-time position in our home in St. Augustine.
My mother works from home and will be present during the day, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a household where a family member is also home.
The ideal candidate is experienced with infants, patient, reliable, and passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment for a young baby.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for our infant.
- Follow the baby’s feeding and nap schedule.
- Assist with diaper changes and general infant care.
- Keep bottles and feeding supplies clean.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the baby.
- Engage in age-appropriate activities that support the baby’s development.
Qualifications
- Previous infant or childcare experience preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Non-smoker.
- Comfortable working in a home where a family member is present.
Compensation and Schedule
- $17 per hour.
- Monday through Thursday, 10 AM–3 PM.
- Hours may be flexible for the right candidate.
- Care will take place in our home in St. Augustine, Florida.
