Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Residential Electrician role based in Southeastern, WI. The Residential Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, lighting, circuit breakers, and panels in homes and small residential buildings. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing electrical issues, performing safety inspections, ensuring work complies with local codes and regulations, and documenting work performed. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, collaborating with homeowners to explain options and costs, ordering necessary materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The Residential Electrician will also schedule jobs, manage time and resources efficiently, and provide reliable, professional service to all clients.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in residential electrical installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance; ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of local and national electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices; commitment to safe work habits and use of appropriate tools and protective equipment.
- Effective communication and customer service skills, including the ability to explain technical issues in clear terms and build trust with homeowners.
