Responsibilities
- Take photos of merchandise in stores.
- Assist customers in selecting products that match their preferences, budget, and lifestyle, offering expert advice on features and benefits.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase items’ functionalities, usage tips, or new features to enhance customer understanding.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to highlight promotional items, seasonal displays, and new arrivals to boost sales.
- Upsell complementary products or upgrades to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met authentically.
- Maintain a clean, organized shopping environment by performing regular stocking and merchandising tasks throughout your shift.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions promptly, resolving concerns professionally, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Support team members with product demos, inventory management, and store operations as needed to foster a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership opportunities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently over the phone.
- Spanish speakers preferred.
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, inventory management, and grocery store operations is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Knowledge of product demos and the ability to educate customers about features or benefits confidently.
- Exceptional phone etiquette skills combined with friendly interpersonal communication are necessary for success in this role.
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
